How do you change screen share resolution / bitrate when using BBB in Docker?

Docs point to /etc/bigbluebutton/bbb-html5.yml but can't find this file in any of the multiple containers that are running.

you wouldn't find a file bbb-html5.yml

atm there is no easy overwrite mechanism to edit the settings.

for 2.7 it was easy, to recreate an image with your settings, for 3.0 i recommend atm the following, non persistent way;

1. after deploying your containers, switch to your docker compose directory
2. open an shell inside the nginx container; docker compose exec -it nginx /bin/sh
3. switch to the directory for the config cd /usr/share/bigbluebutton/html5-client/private/config/
4. edit the settings inside the settings.yml
5. restart the container docker compose restart nginx
6. settings changed on this host, as long as you don't remove the image or rebuild the container.

nice to know:

the client is since v3.0 part of the nginx image/container, compare it with the "additional_contexts" inside the docker-compose.yml.tmpl

inside the Dockerfile from the nginx container -> /mod/nginx/Dockerfile you see this:
