Description
In the memo editor, pressing the standard Enter key does not create a new line. Users must use Cmd+Enter to move to the next line. This behavior is inconsistent with standard text editor expectations and only works as expected in bullet point mode.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a meeting note in the memo editor
- Position cursor in the text (non-bullet point mode)
- Press Enter key to create a new line
- Expected: Cursor moves to a new line
- Actual: Nothing happens; line is not created
Current Workaround
- Use Cmd+Enter instead of Enter to create new lines
- Switch to bullet point mode (where Enter works normally)
Environment
- Platform: macOS
- App version: 1.0.21
- Architecture: aarch64
- OS: macOS 26.4
Additional Context
This is a regression from expected behavior and impacts typing speed/workflow when editing memo notes.
