@lijh8 Can it never be saved or is the saved delayed by a few seconds? Does it work via other Save methods such as via the menus or commands (I would assume the issue would repro with any save method and not just the keyboard)?

Yes, it is saved after delay of a few seconds. Does the formatting take too long for a file less than 200 lines?

@lijh8 It's possible the formatter invocation may be delayed by an internal work queue, blocked by another task. We've had this issue in the past, but I thought we moved the formatter into a separate queue so it wouldn't get blocked, but there might still be cases where it can be blocked.
