Can't Edit Grouped Code Blocks Without Jumping Out of the Block

The Problem

When I try edit a grouped code block, the caret jumps out of the code block I'm editing and goes below the group, rendering grouped code blocks unusable.

I don't really understand what you mean. Could you make a short video where you show what the problem is?

All I did in the video was press the E key. Then it jumps below the code block to the next paragraph.

Ahhh, I see. I forgot to update the cursor position (to actually move it from the old block to the new block), so you are typing in the old block (or somewhere, because the old one is hidden). I fix this in an hour. Shouldn't take long

I replaced it under the plugin folder, that's what I was supposed to do, right?

Yes, you should copy it <VaultFolder>\.obsidian\plugins\codeblock-customizer\
Did you reload/restart Obsidian?
It seems to work on my end.

How do you switch tabs? I noticed on your videos that you switch to the third tab, start typing, but then somehow it switches to the first tab. As far as I can tell you didn't click on the first tab. Does this happen, when automatically, or did you use some keyboard combination?
Do you have any other plugin installed that does something with code blocks? Could you try temporarily disable them? Also do the same with custom CSS as well please. Maybe something others interferes with the behavior. Or the simplest, just try it out in a new Test Vault, so nothing else is installed, to verify if it works/doesn't work there.

It switches right as I type any key, automatically. I also noticed it still edits the code block it swaps out of, it just somehow views the first code block when I do type a key

I also dont have any other plugin or custom CSS. ;-;

That is very interesting. Honestly, I don't have many idea what could cause this, and can't even reproduce it. Could you send me your data.json file and the markdown document you are editing? Maybe that would help.

Ok, I can reproduce it, with your settings. So I messed up something with the settings. Now, I just have to find out with which setting 😆

@ethanKletschke Please retry with the current main.js file. The problem was, that in your settings the "Save active tab state" setting was off. This led to the bug, but it should be fixed now.
