3.35.0 RC2 Auto upload bugs

Steps to reproduce

1. My nextcloud is configured to auto upload and delete files from the camera folder
2. I took a picture, quickly deleted it from the folder before nextcloud has a chance to upload it
3. But nextcloud is unable to let go and forget about it, the screenshot keeps re-appearing even after I clicked on the trashcan MULTIPLE TIMES
4. What kind of use case calls for such behavior? Is it expecting the file to magically re-appear for it to upload again?
5. AND there are still photos in the camera folder, why is 3.35.0 RC2 not bothering to upload them? App decided not to upload 3 photos #16027
6. These behaviors defying basic logical thinking

Expected behaviour

1. If a file no longer exists, nextcloud should LET GO and FORGET ABOUT IT
2. If files are still in the folder, nextcloud should RETRY to UPLOAD (and optionally delete it according to how the folder was configured)

Actual behaviour

1. Nextcloud keeps trying to upload files that no longer exists and creates an Android notification to harass me
2. Nextcloud randomly refuses to upload 3 files that still exists in the folder App decided not to upload 3 photos #16027
3. This is utterly frustrating!

Do we have to close now? There is no new nightly/beta whatever release, and I have not way to test/verify the fix...

I have this same issue using RC3 for 3.35. Images seems to upload fine the first time, but then will retry multiple times and fail. Every day or so it will try this again, resulting in me having to repeatedly clear out the failed uploaded ("unknown error"). Seems to be a new issue, but noticed I was using the beta for a bit now.

Reverted to 3.34 and will see if I have the same issues.

The Auto Upload feature works based on multiple conditions, and the expected outcome can vary depending on how it is configured. To better understand your setup, your expectations, and whether the current behavior matches them, or where we can improve, I need the following informations.

1. What is your auto upload configuration?
   Only upload on un-metered wi-fi on or off?
   Only upload when charging on or off?
   Also upload existing file on or off?
   Use sub-folders on or off?
   Exclude hidden on or off?
   Original file will be...? Kept in original folder, moved to app folder, deleted
   What to do if file already exists? Ask me every time (which means create a notification for each file conflict), overwrite remote version, rename new version, skip uploading

2. What is the Android version and phone model?

3. Which storage permission do you have? All files access or media files or limited media files?

4. Was it custom folder, or you directly press the cloud button for specific folder from overview page (Settings → Auto upload)?

5. What is your expectation if you choose to ask me every time for file already exist option? Do you expect to see new notification for each conflict to resolve conflict or do you expect from app to not attempt re-upload those cancelled, failed uploads, but user should be able to resolve them from the upload list?

And lastly from Settings → Logs → via "auto upload" or "upload" keyword filter logs and share with us the logs. This is important to debug the “Unknown error” message. Before sharing logs, please don't forget to remove sensitive information.

I'm not facing the repeating errors already, but I'm still facing the 3 files stuck #16027, no replies from collaborators for over 1 month
