How to reproduce the issue:

  1. Navigate to any Node.js API docs page, e.g. https://nodejs.org/docs/latest/api/*
  2. Scroll down the page until you are at least halfway through the content
  3. Without touching the scroll, click any of the four sticky header picker buttons: Table of contents, Index, Other versions, or Options
  4. Observe the page scroll position immediately after the dropdown opens

Expected: The page stays at the same scroll position — only the dropdown panel appears.

Actual: The page automatically scrolls upward without any user input the moment the picker is opened. The further down the page you are, the more noticeable the jump.
