What happened?
When power is cut and restored, LEDs briefly turn on full white at maximum brightness before the boot preset is applied. This happens consistently on every power cycle.
Additionally, on 0.17 nightly the total time from power-on to preset being active is around 7 seconds, compared to noticeably less on 0.15.4.
To Reproduce Bug
Set a boot preset (Apply preset at boot = 1)
Cut power to the controller
Restore power
Observe: LEDs flash full white, then after a delay the correct preset loads
Expected Behavior
LEDs should either stay off or immediately show the boot preset state - no white flash.
Install Method
Binary from WLED.me
What version of WLED?
0.15.4
Which microcontroller/board are you seeing the problem on?
ESP32 Gledpto Elite 4-Channel EXMU
Relevant log/trace output
Anything else?
On the original Gledopto stock firmware this behavior did not occur. Does Gledopto ship a custom WLED build with different boot initialization? If so, what is different?
Controller is connected via WiFi, but the hardware is an Ethernet-capable Gledopto model.
Possibly related to #3196 and #5446.
WLED version: 0.15.4 (white flash), 0.17 nightly (white flash + ~7s boot delay)
Board: Gledopto ESP32 with Ethernet (GL-C-6xxWL series), used over WiFi
